Hi, we're going to Disney's Vero Beach Resort as part of our Florida holiday in July. What does the sea-food buffet on a Thursday evening consist of and is it value for money? If we do decide to go, how would I go about booking it?

    Hi Joel,

I have never stayed at Disney's Vero Beach Resort but it is on our list of places to visit.  I was very intrigued by this seafood buffet and actually called the restaurant and spoke with a Cast Member.  This is sounds absolutely delicious!  The Surfside Seafood Dinner buffet is set up in the Lobby but the seating is in Shutters restaurant. There is an extensive menu which includes Snow Crab legs with drawn butter, mussels, a local catch of the day, fried shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, and homemade biscuits.  If this isn't enough to have you book right now, they also have a Yankee Pot Roast, honey glazed carrots, corn on the cob, and various salads.  For your kids, they have macaroni and cheese as well as chicken nuggets.  For dessert, Key Lime Pie, pecan bars, lots of cookies and brownies will finish your meal.  The cost for this is $24.99 for ages 10 and older and $12.99 for ages 3-9.  They do recommend reservations, and this can be made by calling 772-234-2180.  Let me tell you, Joel, my mouth is watering after hearing about the wonderful menu at Vero Beach.  I would recommend that you make your reservation today!  Have a magical meal!
