We are going to Disney's Vero Beach Resort on October 6th through the 8th and then Disney World through the 11th or 12th and I was wondering what are the crowds at this time (mainly at Disney World)?

    Hi Hannah,

Disney's Vero Beach Resort is just lovely in October.  The beaches are fantastic and really not crowded. When you arrive at Walt Disney World on October 11th, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening that night beginning at 7:00 pm.  This will make the Magic Kingdom crowded for the day.  Also during the days you will be there (actually all month,) the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing and that park will be crowded.  I think if you still wanted to visit the them, it will be fine but I would recommend arriving at park open and taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours if you are staying on Walt Disney World property.  If you can go to the Halloween party, I would definitely recommend it.  This is my family's favorite special event.  We love dressing in costume and going Trick-or-Treating in the Magic Kingdom.  The party is from 7:00 pm to Midnight and requires an additional ticket.  Thank you so much for the question, Hannah.  I know your vacation will be just MAGICAL.  Please let me know if I can help you further.
