Hello Gary! Let me extend a warm welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled to have you here and appreciate you coming to us with your question. Your next adventure is just around the corner, and I'm excited to hear that you're planning to visit
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. It's my favorite water park on the property and the perfect way to beat the heat.
Currently, there is no direct bus service available from
Disney's Port Orleans Resort to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. The easiest way to get there is to take the bus to
Disney Springs and then transfer onto the bus to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Bus service between Disney Springs and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon begins around 45 minutes prior to the water park opening and ends approximately 60 minutes after the water park closing. Please note that bus service between Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs is available during Disney Springs operating hours and ends one hour after closing.
I completely understand this is different from what you were hoping for, but I promise it's worth exploring! Plus, there are other terrific options available for getting around. If you prefer, you can use ridesharing apps, but if you're looking for a truly magical experience, you may want to try
Minnie Van Service through the Lyft app. It's the fastest way to get around, and you'll enjoy the ride in a Disney-owned vehicle driven by a Cast Member. How cool is that?
Here's another great tip to help you get around: download the
My Disney Experience app and tap on "Get Directions," the app will provide you with the quickest and most direct route using buses, monorail, boats, and even walking. It's a super neat feature that can save you a lot of time and effort!
Gary, I hope you have a great day splashing around and exploring this typhoon-wrecked island adventure. If you have any questions or need help with anything,
just let us know, and we'll be more than happy to assist you.
Cheers
Nilson
