Hi Sandra!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
You'll be excited to know that the Disney Cruise Line has multiple
Youth Clubs onboard that will happily fill kids' time with a fun-filled day while the adults are enjoying time spent off the ship! Disney's Oceaneer Lab and Disney's Oceaneer Club are for younger cruisers aged 3 to 12 years old. Edge is a tween-exclusive hangout where 11 to 14 year olds can watch movies, play games or make new friends with other tweens! Vibe is a favorite place onboard for teenagers 14 to 17 years old. While visiting Vibe, teens have so many options of fun things to do! Lastly, "it's a small world" nursery is a perfect place for the littlest cruisers to enjoy while the adults are exploring a port of call or enjoying an adults-only dinner at Palo. "it's a small world" nursery is an additional hourly charge and does require reservations booked in advance. The other Youth Clubs mentioned are all included in the price of your cruise and allow kids to drop in at any time during the open hours of operation!
It's always helpful for the Youth Counselors to know which Port Adventure the adult is on as well as the approximate return time. It's also advised for a Guest to leave a cell phone number when they debark the ship and their children are staying onboard. This way, if the Counselors need to reach a child's guardian, they'll be able to!
Sandra, I hope this helped answer your questions! Please stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any future questions!
