With Disney's Limited Time Magic 2013, I vaguely remember reading somewhere about a week long Independence Day celebration. Do you know the exact dates for this? Planning to be there till either July 1 or 2 and don't want to miss the fun by a day! Thanks!

Hi Patricia!  Limited Time Magic is 52 weeks of special surprises that will appear and then disappear just as quickly as they came!  While the majority of the events and experiences are being kept under wraps, some of the special events have been officially announced, including Independence Week, which will run from July 1-7, 2013.  Those dates fall at the end of your planned vacation, so you will definitely be able to see the special patriotic fireworks or purchase limited edition shirts, ears or other souvenirs. Mickey will also be dressed in his finest patriotic outfit and Cinderella Castle will be bathed in red, white and blue-those will be some great photo ops!  It sounds like it will be a fabulous celebration and it's sure to be very popular.

I hope you have a very magical time celebrating Independence Week at Walt Disney World!  If you think of any more questions while planning your trip, don't hesitate to come back to the Moms Panel and ask me!
