Hello Vera! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You'll love getting an insider's perspective about the Magic Kingdom during
Disney's Keys to the kingdom Tour. When I took the tour last year, I was amazed by the underground Utilidoors system and breadth of knowledge conveyed by Anna, our fearless Cast Member Tour Guide.
When you go "offstage" to parts of the Magic Kingdom that most Guests will never see, Cast Members are adamant that pictures or any recording devices capture any of the backstage magic. As such, all Guests are warned anytime that recording devices need to be put away and informed when they may be used again. If you have any doubts that something can be recorded, I strongly recommend you ask your Cast Member Tour Guide before taking any pictures.
While
lockers are available at the entrance of Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom at a cost of $7 per day with a $5 key deposit for a small locker and $9 per day with a $5 key deposit for a large, they are not provided as a part of the Tour. Most Guests during my experience with Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour simply stowed phones in their pockets and did not reach for them until they were told otherwise. You are more than welcome to store items in a locker if that makes you more comfortable.
If for nothing else, I kept my phone to snap a picture with Anna, our Cast Member Tour Guide at the conclusion of the tour.
I recommend you do some homework before your tour and create a list of questions you might have. The best part of the Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour was learning the answers to some of those questions found beyond the books and well-known history.
Enjoy the Tour!
