Hi, Felicia! Welcome to planDisney! I recently answered a question about the differences between the rooms found in the Gran Destino Tower and the rooms located throughout the rest of
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort property. Having never stayed there before, I did a deep dive into all the different amenities and dining options, and as a result, this resort quickly became a must-stay for one of my upcoming visits! Between
Rix Sports Bar & Grill,
Siestas Cantina, and
Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago, I don’t know if I would ever make it to the theme parks. I would be too busy eating my way around the property and dreaming of my next meal while poolside at
The Lost City of Cibola Pool!
For your upcoming visit in a non-suite room, you can expect your room to have a beverage cooler, but not your typical refrigerator. The beverage cooler is on the smaller side, perfect for keeping a few beverages cool, but not something that will keep your food or leftovers at the same temperature you would typically expect from a refrigerator.
If you require a mini-refrigerator in your room, you can ask the Cast Member at check-in to see if Mousekeeping could provide one and swap out the beverage cooler, but there are no guarantees that this can be accommodated. Your other option is to upgrade your room to the 1 Bedroom Suite – King or the Casitas – 1 Bedroom Suite, which would have the refrigerator that you are seeking.
I hope this answers your question, Felicia. Enjoy your upcoming vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
