Hello, Does Disney's Copper Creek Resort have a pool shower and changing room? I will be running the 1/2 marathon in a couple weeks and I am staying at Copper Creek. My room may not be available and need to take a shower for my dining reservation.

Hey there, Cynthia! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with another great planning question!

In just days, you'll arrive at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, ready to embark on your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you must be getting so excited, Cynthia. With theming that transports you right to the Pacific Northwest, oh-so-fun pools, fantastic dining options and location within a short, scenic boat ride of Magic Kingdom Park, Copper Creek is the perfect, peaceful place to kick your feet up and enjoy a fabulous meal after you run 13.1 magical miles. My family and I just came home from a pixie-dusted stay with plenty of pool time at Copper Creek, and I'm more than happy to share what we found while exploring the wilderness!

If you will have your swimsuit, you can find an outdoor shower for rinsing off at the Copper Creek Springs Pool, and you can change in the nearby restroom. However, I suggest taking the short walk over to the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool to shower and change before your dining reservation. As a Guest at Copper Creek, you are more than welcome to use the pool and facilities at Boulder Ridge, and here, you will find a private indoor shower inside the restroom near the pool and Sturdy Branches Health Club. At the Health Club, you will even find lockers to store your running clothes and other belongings while you wait for your room to be ready.

One of my favorite things about staying at Copper Creek is the abundance of cozy little sitting areas scattered throughout the Resort. After you successfully complete your half marathon, I recommend finding a rocking chair near the fireplace in the lobby to relax before your dining reservation. If you're looking for a place to relax with great views and beverages before your dining reservation, don't miss Geyser Point Bar & Grill. Enjoying a margarita flight with sunset views is my favorite way to top off the best Disney day.

I hope this helps, Cynthia, and I hope you have the most magical run and time at Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!

Chase the wind and touch the sky,

    Mandy
