What is Disneys cancellation policy? Due to possible Surgery conflict I may have to change my resort reservation.

    Hi Michele!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It’s so great to hear from you again!
I’m so sorry to hear that you may have a conflict due to upcoming surgery. Even though planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting, even those of us that don’t want to grow up sometimes have to make adult decisions (even when we don’t want to!)

It has been my experience that you can cancel your vacation package up to 30 days before check-in with no penalty. If you cancel within the 30 days of your vacation, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you need to modify your reservation, including the check-in date, you likely will be able to do that without penalty. If you have a room-only reservation, you should be able to cancel your reservation five days before check-in without penalty.

As a nurse, I’m sending orders for a quick and easy recovery. If you do have to postpone your reservation, to make your recovery more manageable, I recommend daydreaming about Soarin’ Around the World at Epcot, dropping in to visit The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, flying on the back of your banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage, and skipping right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.

We here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel are wishing you a quick and easy recovery.
    See you real soon!
