Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Eloysa!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! I have to say that you are going to love visiting
Disney's BoardWalk! It’s one of those hidden-in-plain-sight gems that make Disney World feel extra MAGICAL. Now, the great news is that you don’t have to stay at a Disney Resort to enjoy it! Anyone can stroll, snack, explore, and soak in the vibes along Crescent Lake. Just know that Mickey and Minnie absolutely welcome you to join in the fun!
Since you are visiting in mid-January, here’s the scoop on planning your visit. Depending on the time of day and specific date, you can check directly with the
BoardWalk Inn upon arrival. Sometimes, they allow guests who aren’t staying at the resort to park there, but it all depends on how busy they are and how full the lot is. If they’re at capacity, don’t you worry! You still have a great option. You can park at
Disney Springs and take a bus straight over to the BoardWalk area. It’s easy, free, and gives you a little extra Disney time along the way.
Now, let me tell you why the BoardWalk is SO worth the trip. This whole area feels like stepping into a charming seaside town from the 1920s, but with that signature Disney sparkle. You can stroll along the water, watch street performers, grab a snack (the
BoardWalk Ice Cream is SO good), or just enjoy the gorgeous view of Crescent Lake. At night, the lights twinkle, music drifts through the air, and the vibe becomes pure Disney enchantment. It’s the perfect place to wander, relax, or check out the other resorts like the
Yacht or
Beach Club resorts.
If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
Wes
