Never been to disneys boardwalk. Is it like downtown Disney? How much time should we budget for it? DS 9 & 13. Thx!

    Hi Danelle!

Disney's Boardwalk is much smaller than Downtown Disney.  Downtown Disney consists of many restaurants and stores and entertainment options such as a movie theater, bowling, and Cirque de Soleil.  One could easily spend an afternoon if not an entire day and evening in Downtown Disney.

Disney's Boardwalk, on the other hand, consists of three restaurants, a bakery, a typical hotel store, a dueling piano bar, and a dance hall.  However, Disney's Boardwalk is a lot of fun especially at night and especially if you want a relaxing evening; many guests love to stroll around Crescent Lake and explore the many hotels there.  On select evenings there's even street performers out on the Boardwalk.  Adults typically love Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar; my wife and I always enjoy going there.  A great evening for us is enjoying dinner at the Flying Fish restaurant on the boardwalk, walking around the lake to the Beach Club to get ice cream at Beaches and Cream, and then walking back to the Boardwalk to enjoy the evening in Jellyrolls.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
