While a question asking if staying at Disney's new
Art of Animation Resort is a good idea is hard to answer since the Resort
isn't even open yet (scheduled opening is summer of 2012), all signs point to "yes," that Disney World's newest value Resort will be a hit.
One plus should be that during Christmas 2012, the Art of Animation Resort will still be brand new, with
fresh theming and modern touches and amenities. Moreover, the Resort will feature 1,120 family suites, which sound perfect for a family of your size. Right now, the only family suites at a value Resort are at All Star Music Resorts. These family suites sleep up to six guests and feature a separate bedroom, a pull-out sofa in the living room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette.
Booking dates for this Resort are not open yet, but hopefully the Resort will be ready to go for your upcoming vacation.
