Welcome back to planDisney, Andrew!
It is a pleasure to continue to assist you as you plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the most festive time of the year! We will start
celebrating the spirit of the season on November 12 across all four theme parks, Disney Springs and Disney Resorts Collection hotels. I cannot wait to experience
Disney Very Merriest After Hours! Guests attending this 4-hour event at Magic Kingdom Park will celebrate the holidays with exciting entertainment, including a themed parade and fireworks, enjoy holiday-themed treats and unique Disney PhotoPass opportunities, and more!
Since the first after-hours event will take place on November 8 and holiday celebrations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort begin November 12, we do not know if there will be holiday castle projections before Disney Very Merriest After Hours starts, as Magic Kingdom Park will close earlier on event nights. However, even if you are visiting the park on a date the event will be offered, you will still get wrapped up in all things merry and bright with dazzling seasonal decorations and holiday-inspired food and beverages.
planDisney tip: While visiting Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to catch
Disney Enchantment, featuring immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down to Main Street U.S.A. This stunning nighttime spectacular is a centerpiece to
The World’s Most Magical Celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort, so you will not want to miss it!
Thank you for sending another question our way, Andrew. Please come back to visit us real soon for more tips and advice, and be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest holidays news and updates!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
