At Disneyland’s castle, there is a walk through to follow along with Sleeping Beauty’s story. Besides the restaurant, is there any other activity to do inside the Disney World castle?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, William!

Whenever I hear the words “The Most Magical Place on Earth” the first thing that comes to mind is Cinderella Castle! I can only say that I am finally “home” at the Walt Disney World Resort whenever I set my eyes on this iconic 189-foot landmark that is the symbol of Magic Kingdom Park. Dreams do come true both inside and outside the castle as it is home to Cinderella’s Royal Table and Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique, but also the centerpiece for magic happening from morning to evening.

The best day ever for me includes arriving at Magic Kingdom Park about one hour prior to park opening and walking down Main Street U.S.A. to the front of Cinderella Castle. Every morning about 5 minutes before official park opening time Guests are greeted by Mickey Mouse and friends during royal welcome ceremony Let the Magic Begin. After this special greeting it is time to make my way through the castle to view the beautiful handcrafted glass mosaics telling Cinderella’s story and walk into Fantasyland to enjoy the first attractions of the day.

I highly recommend booking an unforgettable royal transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for visitors in your party ages 3 to 12. Guests of all ages are also welcome to quickly stop by the boutique and ask the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training to sprinkle them with pixie-dust. They will be happy to grant you this wish provided they are not too busy making dreams come true for little princesses and princes. However, I cannot think of a more pixie-dusted experience than having a meal inside the castle in the company of Disney Princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Guests are greeted by Cinderella herself upon arriving at this signature dining location that is one of the most popular restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. I highly recommend making advance dining reservations up to 180 days before your visit.

Make sure not to miss Mickey’s Royal Friendship Fare for a live performance in a beautiful stage show in front of the castle, and come back in the evening for a grand finale to your day as Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular lights up Cinderella Castle with amazing fireworks and projections.

I hope this helps you enjoy Cinderella Castle during your visit, William. Please continue to stop by with more questions, we love to help Guests create magic and memories!

    Best Disney wishes
