Hello there, Jeremy!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m glad to hear you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in mind. It sounds like you’re busy getting all your Donald Ducks in a row for your vacation!
If meeting Mickey Mouse is on your must-do list, Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at
Storytellers Cafe is the perfect choice because it is the only character meal at the resort where he makes an appearance! Mickey and his classic character pals, such as Minnie, Pluto, and Chip 'n' Dale, can be found there, all dressed for an adventure in their outdoor gear! If you’ll be staying at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa during your vacation, all you have to do is head downstairs to the restaurant, which is located just outside the lobby and across from the hotel’s three sparkling pools.
Guests can generally begin booking tables at restaurants that accept advance
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. While this timeline can vary, I just took a peek online and it looks like there are several time slots available for breakfast on September 2. The rest of the week does not yet appear to be available, but this sometimes happens, especially if the menu is about to be updated or if a seasonal menu is being added. Mickey might be cooking up something special! If breakfast on September 2 doesn’t work for your schedule, I suggest that you check back often as availability may change as that week approaches.
I hope this helps you make plans, Jeremy, and that you’re able to book a character breakfast soon. Bon appetit, and be sure to bring along your camera and autograph book!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
