Hi, we are going to Disneyland the week of January 9th, 2024 - January 15th, 2024. Are there no fireworks on that weekend? (13th/14th)

A Great, Big, Beautiful Welcome to planDisney, Amie! I'm so excited you dropped by with your question as you get ready for your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort next year!

I am also a huge fan of the nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Resort. There's something so nostalgic about watching fireworks shine over Sleeping Beauty Castle! I do have a bit of information for your visit in January 2024. I was able to locate the showtimes for Mickey's Mix Magic which will replace the holiday fireworks spectaculars in the new year. It looks like Mickey's Mix Magic is playing on select weekend nights, although it isn't yet clear from the description if these showtimes will include fireworks. I have seen both Mickey's Mix Magic in two different versions, one with projections on the Main Street U.S.A. building facades and on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and one with the addition of fireworks - both versions are so lively and vibrant! You can't help but dance along!

I also recommend that you keep your eye on the Hours and Events Calendar on the Disneyland Resort Website or within the official Disneyland mobile app as you get closer to your visit dates, as the information may be updated (and showtimes are subject to change due to weather or other factors). I hope this is a helpful piece of advice as you continue planning your trip, but if we can lend any other suggestions in the meantime, please come back to planDisney with your questions! I wish you many magical memories with your loved ones in 2024 and beyond!

    Magically yours,
