    Hello , we are going to Disneyland this week and my husbands CA id expired in May 2021, he just renewed it last week , would that be an acceptable form of ID to enter the theme park?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question about your trip to the Disneyland Resort. It sounds like your family will embark on a magical vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth very soon!

    All Guests were asked to be prepared to present photo identification at the theme park entrance gates to verify their state of residency in the recent past, but this is generally no longer required now that attendance is not limited to only California residents. However, I still recommend that your husband double check that his contact information is up-to-date in his Disney account on Disneyland.com or the Disneyland mobile app. Since he likely won’t receive his new identification card before your visit to the resort, I also recommend that he bring along the temporary paper copy issued by the DMV to accompany his expired photo ID.
