At Disneyland is a virtual queue still being used for Rise of the Resistance or are the only options to purchase lightning lane passes or wait in the stand by line? Don't want to miss this ride on our first visit to Galaxy's Edge!

Hello Carrie! Welcome to planDisney. What a fabulous name you have!

Currently, virtual queues have been suspended and are not being used for any of the Disneyland Resort attractions. Currently, your options to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane or wait in the stand-by line.

The Resistance needs your help! If your top priority is to help the Resistance with a secret mission, I definitely recommend checking out the Disneyland app over the next few days to see if there is a trend in when the wait times may be lower or add the Individual Lightning Lane price into your trip budget.

While you are wandering the great planet of Batuu, be sure to clench your thirst at the Milk Stand and see if you are team Blue Milk or Green Milk. I happen to be on team Blue Milk! I also recommend one of my favorite snacks, the Ronto Wrap, which happens to be near the Black Spire Outpost at Ronto Roasters. Just remember to stay alert, the First Order has Stormtroopers patrolling and they are always looking for a reason to interrogate you.

Carrie, I hope this information helps you plan out your first visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to visit us again. The force is strong with planDisney!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mama and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. We love that we are close enough to Disneyland Resort to make a last-minute trip to see the Mouse quite frequently. You'll find us in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can fit in! I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
