Seasons Greetings, Marina!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are in for such a treat this
holiday season as you visit the Disneyland Resort during the most magical time of year.
Each evening at dusk you will see both parks transform into a winter wonderland. As this time will vary each evening depending on sunset, you can ask Cast Members each day if they know an exact time. Usually before sunset you will see lights start to appear. There is nothing more magical to me than seeing Main Street, U.S.A. lit up for the holidays or the "it's a small world" Holiday facade. Make sure to stop and grab some Disney PhotoPass photos at these locations for picture-perfect vacation memories. Each evening you can also see snow fall in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Park or in Grizzly Peak of Disney California Adventure Park. These times can sometimes be found on the entertainment schedule when you arrive, or you can ask a Cast Member for details. I hope this helps!
I hope you arrive on an empty stomach as there are eats, sweets, and treats throughout the entire Disneyland Resort for the holidays. I love Disney California Adventure Park's
Festival of Holidays for cultural holiday dishes and stopping by favorites like Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe or Plaza Inn for twists on classic items.
Please return if you have any other questions, and have a Fantasmic day!
