Are the Disneyland Trams accessible by walking from one of the resorts near the Mickey and Friends Parking structure?

    Hey McKenna!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The three Disneyland Resort Hotels are nothing short of amazing and any one of them would make for a Magical stay. When staying on property, you’ll have access to Disney-themed accommodations, and special perks like early entry into the parks or Preferred Reservation Access for dining reservations at select table-service restaurants. Not to mention that Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has direct access into Disney California Adventure Park and guests staying at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel also have an exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park.

It looks like you’re trying to use the trams to get to the theme parks while staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Even though you could walk over to the Pixar Pals Parking Structure and take the tram, it’s not something I would recommend.  As I mentioned earlier, both Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel have easy access to Disney California Adventure Park so the tram would not be faster and it’s not going to save much time, if any, rather than just walking to the esplanade where the main gates are. The Disneyland Hotel is the closest to the trams at the Pixar Pals Parking Structure but again you’re probably better off just walking through the Downtown Disney District to get to the main entrance gates of both parks. Getting to the trams from the hotels is something you could do but not something I would recommend. The best perk of staying at one of the hotels is being so close to it all.

Well McKenna, I hope you find this information useful when making your final plans for the trip.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
