Hiya, Ann Marie!
Oh boy! Another visit to The Happiest Place on Earth sure sounds swell! Our family has enjoyed buying and trading collectible Disney pins at the Disneyland Resort. And I’m happy to say that pin trading is back!
You can find new pins for sale at various locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. Many shops have at least a small selection of trading pins for sale. Our favorite locations that feature a large selection of pins include
Little Green Men Store Command and
Westward Ho Trading Company located in
Disneyland Park and
Disney's Pin Traders in the
Downtown Disney District. Many shops feature a pin trading board. It is often in the shape of a
large Mickey Mouse icon. If you see one in a shop, ask a Cast Member if you can make a trade. The Cast Member can help you get a closer look and let you know what the pin trading rules are. Here’s a handy
pin trading etiquette guide you may review as well.
Tony’s Tip: At
select shops, you may find it useful to use
Merchandise Mobile Checkout. My children and I enjoy finding just the right souvenir and scanning it into the app. Then when we are done shopping, we don’t even have to wait in line to check out. With a few taps in the app, we are done. We can even use a Disney Gift Card to pay for our purchase. Some locations that offer Mobile Checkout and that also sell trading pins include
World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District,
Star Trader in Disneyland Park, and
Knick’s Knacks in
Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope you and your boys have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Ann Marie!
