    Hi! We are going to Disneyland 1st time 11/4-11/11. Looking Blue Bayou & character meal @ plaza inn. Christmas decor is not up until 11/9. Does either of these 2 do something special for Christmas season that it would be better to eat @ 11/9 or after?

    Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your fall trip to the Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you know it. I'm glad you are already planning dining selections since your 60 day reservation window to book these experiences is approaching soon.

    Blue Bayou is such an iconic option to book for your trip. Nothing compares to being immersed in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction while eating under the "stars." Plus the food here is always fantastic. While I do not think this restaurant will be doing anything too out of the ordinary for the Christmas season, it's possible there may be some seasonal additions to the menu.

    At Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, I really do adore the Christmas decor during the holiday season. Last year I sat next to the most beautiful Christmas Tree while enjoying their famous seasonal Yule Log dessert offered during lunch and dinner. It really made me feel a part of the Christmas season. You may want to call the Disneyland Dining number at (714) 781-3463 closer to your reservation to see if any seasonal menu items will be added to the Character breakfast in this restaurant.
