Hi! I have Disneyland tickets that we were planning on using during the shutdown. They expire Jan 7, 2021. We do not live close and will probably not be able to come before they are set to expire. Do we have any options so we don’t lose our tickets?

    Hiya Britni!

A very warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so glad you brought us a question!

I’m so sorry to hear that, like so many other families, your Disneyland Resort vacation plans were interrupted. But, rest assured you’ll be able to take a magical vacation when the time is right for you.  Unused single day tickets and wholly unused multi-day tickets are valid for a future visit through the end of the stated expiration date. But, there’s no need to worry if you are unable to visit before January 7, 2021! According to eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. When you’re ready to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth!”, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth, or a Guest Relations location inside the theme park. Then, ask the Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.  It's that easy!

The magic of the Disneyland Resort will be waiting for you whenever you decide to visit! Until then, please come see us again with your future questions.
