A warm planDisney welcome to you, Kathlene. Thanks for dropping by to share your question with us. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort may be in your future and I'm delighted to help out.
A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required for entrance into both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Tickets purchased at the Disneyland site or in the
Disneyland app do indeed come with an expiration date. One-day tickets purchased today are valid through December 30, 2026. Multi-day tickets purchased today must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2027, whichever comes first.
If you find that you aren't able to use your theme park ticket before it expires, there's no need to fret. The
value of a wholly unused and expired ticket (excluding special event tickets) can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket as long as the purchase price of the new ticket is equal to or greater than the price paid for the original ticket. I love the flexibility of this policy.
So there you have it, perhaps more than you may have wanted to know about Disneyland Resort theme park tickets and their expiration dates. Hopefully, this is helpful as you are thinking about when you might make a visit (hopefully soon). There are so many wonderful things happening at the resort right now (
Halloween Time) and for the rest of the year (
The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort). And 2025 is bound to be an especially magical year with
Disneyland celebrating its 70th anniversary.
Thanks again for stopping by, Kathlene. Don't be a stranger if you have any other questions. Have a magical day!
