    We'll be at Disneyland on Thanksgiving this year. I want to book a reservation for Fantasmic for that night but the dates on the reservation calendar are not as far out for that event as they are for other restaurants. Is that week not the same?

    Thanks so much for bringing your Disneyland Resort question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a Thanksgiving visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! That’s one of my favorite holidays to spend at the resort because of all the special seasonal dining offerings.

    I called and spoke with a Cast Member from Disney Dining, and she confirmed that there is a delay for booking dining packages for Paint the Night and Fantasmic! at this time. Reservations of this type can usually be made within 60 days, so dates for mid-November should already be available, but they have not yet been released for booking online or by phone beyond early November. Please keep checking Disney Dining's online booking tool or call (714) 781-DINE as this should be resolved soon. 

    However, dining reservations at table-service restaurants with special menus on Thanksgiving Day specifically will be released this coming Tuesday, September 25. If you’re interested in booking a restaurant with a special offering for Thanksgiving, such as the buffet feast available at the Disneyland Hotel’s Grand Ballroom, that will be the day to call or go online to make your holiday dining reservations.
