Hi! We’re going to Disneyland soon and are wondering if it’ possible to enter Grand Californian from Downtown Disney. We have a dinner reservation for one of the evenings where we don’t have park reservations. We’re staying off-site. Lily, NO

    Hello, Linda!

Thanks so much for your question! Having a meal at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels is the perfect way to put some extra magic into a day when you aren't visiting the theme parks. You're going to love it!

Yes! You are welcome to use the entrance from the Downtown Disney District to visit Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. The entrance is a little subtle and set back from the storefronts, but it does have a sign that says "Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa" and it's right between Sephora and The Dress Shop.

Since you mentioned dining, have you had a chance to see the Disney Eats Foodie Guide to Holidays at the Disneyland Resort 2023? There are so many delicious options, from classic favorites like Mickey Gingerbread (SO good) to creative seasonal creations like the Thanks-mas Sandwich at Jolly Holiday Bakery. Take a look before your visit so you don't miss a single bite!

I'm also thrilled to share that the Adventureland Treehouse has just reopened and it is spectacular. I highly recommend that you take some time to explore this unique attraction, especially after dark! You'll enjoy amazing views of the park and there are so many details to discover in the treehouse itself. Don't skip this adventure!

Linda, I hope you have a wonderful meal at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Make sure you spend a few moments in the lobby to soak up the holiday spirit!

    Keep moving forward!
