Greetings, Gretchen, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The Disneyland Resort does an incredible job of making all Guests feel comfortable, including
those with disabilities! For Guests with disabilities that make it difficult to wait in long lines, there are some helpful options, including
Disability Access Service (DAS), which allows Guests to receive a return time to come back that’s similar to the standby wait time. To find out if you’re eligible for this service, I recommend stopping by
Guest Relations upon arrival on
Sunday, August 4. You can stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park, or Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to chat with a Cast Member about your particular needs.
If for some reason you’re not eligible for DAS, I recommend adding
Disney MaxPass to your ticket so you can take advantage of the shorter wait times and convenience of digital
Disney FASTPASS selections!
In addition,
special dietary requests can often be accommodated at table-service restaurants and select quick-service locations, too. So, when you arrive at a restaurant, I recommend asking to see an allergy-friendly menu, and speaking with the chef or restaurant manager to ask about gluten-free options. Also, if you make a
dining reservation online, be sure to make note of any food allergies or special requests.
I have some good news to share, too... two of my favorite snacking options at the Happiest Place on Earth are gluten-free, including the iconic DOLE WHIP, available at the
Tiki Juice Bar, and the IncrediCookie, made fresh at
Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums!
Wishing you a magical, comfortable adventure at the Disneyland Resort this weekend! Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
