Going to Disneyland soon and was wondering if the 70th decorations, food, and shows/parades will still be happening? I know the celebration goes until 2026, but it will be Halloween time and I was wondering if the new snacks means the 70th will be gone?

    Howdy, Emma!

It is so great to hear you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort. What a magical time to visit! I'm planning to be there around that same time myself, and I can't wait to see all the spooky-fun decorations alongside the wonderful 70th anniversary celebration. You've asked an excellent question, and I'm happy to tell you that you'll get to experience the best of both worlds!

You are right on the money that the Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary celebration runs through 2026. The Disneyland Resort has been careful to make sure that the milestone anniversary and Halloween Time can both be enjoyed at the same time. While some of the 70th anniversary décor will be temporarily replaced with Halloween-specific decorations, most of the 70th anniversary offerings will continue to be available. You will still be able to enjoy the beautiful World of Color Happiness! nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park and the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the facade of "it's a small world" in Disneyland Park. Don't forget to look for the special MagicBand+ interaction locations throughout Disneyland park, which offer fun and interactive experiences unique to the anniversary. And keep an eye out for the fantastic Paint the Night Parade, which will also be running during Halloween Time.

When it comes to food, the Disney Parks Blog released a Halloween Foodie Guide that showcases all the new treats for the season, but that doesn't mean the 70th anniversary-themed food will be gone entirely! While some items will be replaced, many of the 70th anniversary treats and snacks will still be available. The best way to stay on top of all the latest information is to keep an eye on the official Disneyland Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog. You can also use the Disneyland mobile app to check menus for restaurants.

Tony's Tip: I like to use the mobile food and beverage order feature in the Disneyland mobile app to view select menu items with pictures. If I'm not ready to place my order yet, I cancel the order before purchasing.

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming trip! I know you are going to have a wonderful time celebrating both the anniversary and Halloween Time.

    See ya real soon, Emma!
    ~Tony
