Welcome to planDisney, Joshua. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us. And THANK YOU for being an essential worker and all that you do. I’m sorry you had to miss out last year when the pandemic forced the Disneyland Resort to temporarily close. As a registered nurse, I empathize with you, Joshua, and I too am looking forward to being back at the “Happiest Place on Earth” for some much-needed Disney Magic!
I hope you heard the amazing news, Joshua. Disneyland Resort recently announced it will begin a
phased reopening on April 30, 2021!
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will also begin welcoming Guests on April 29, 2021 also. At this time, however, the sale of new theme park tickets remain paused until further notice.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and
Disneyland Hotel will reopen at a later time as well.
Once ticket sales resume, you’ll soon
return to the land of magic! When Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen in late April, park attendance will be managed through a new theme park reservation system. In order to enter a park, Guests will need a valid park admission and a theme park reservation for the same park on the same day. I anticipate more detailed information will be shared soon regarding reopening guidelines. Before you know it, Joshua, you’ll be enjoying a frosty confection at the
Milk Stand and experiencing
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in no time!
I recommend staying tuned to
Disneyland.com and
Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news.
As we hear more details about reopening, please visit us on

See ya real soon,
