Hello, Michelle!
I am thrilled to welcome you to planDisney as your (not) Ghost Host! Let's see if I can contact Madame Leota and get a better idea of what our happy haunts might be planning this year.
I love getting to see Jack Skellington work his special brand of magic to turn the Haunted Mansion into
Haunted Mansion Holiday! While my crystal ball is still foggy on specific dates, I can share that last year Jack had the mansion ready for guests the first week of September. If he keeps up that tradition then I think it's likely that you will be able to see his handiwork for yourself during your visit!
The timing of your question is so good, it's almost spooky! This week we are celebrating
"Halfway to Halloween" over on the Disney Parks Blog, and there are already sneak peeks of the villainous fun coming to the parks this fall! I'm particularly excited about the new
Foodie Guide, just scroll down a bit to get to the treats created especially for the Disneyland Resort.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is always a party! The pumpkins along Main Street, U.S.A. are amazing, and I love to visit with all our favorite Disney friends in their Halloween costumes! Disney's California Adventure Park gets into the spirit too, especially in Cars Land. If you thought Mater was funny before, just wait until you see him dress up in his Halloween costume!
You might also have the chance to attend Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party. This separately ticketed event sells out fast, so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to know when tickets go on sale! Oogie Boogie is a ghoulish host, welcoming villains from across our favorite stories for a night of frights, candy, and celebration. It's totally incredible!
I hope you are looking forward to your trip, Michelle! Please hurry back if you have other questions about planning your visit. We hope to see you soon!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
