Hey there, Cindy! Thanks for popping in to planDisney with your question. I’m excited to see you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Cindy, while
Disneyland Resort does sell tickets at the main entrance ticket booths, you will also need a
theme park reservation for each Guest. Regardless of where you purchase your ticket, you need a reservation to go along with it. Even the Cast Members at the main entrance ticket booths will be using the same, central reservation system that you access online.
Hence, I strongly recommend looking at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar prior to visiting, to manage your expectations before your arrival. Right now, I do not see any availability for your desired date of March 21. That said, I have seen reservations become available last minute as Guests change plans and cancel reservations. It is worth refreshing the availability calendar frequently in the hopes that something may become available. I like to check the calendar from my
Disneyland mobile app so I can be checking it on-the-go. You can access it by clicking the “+” at the bottom of the screen and selecting “Make a Park Reservation.”
Sending you some pixie dust for good luck as you try to secure those reservations!
