Hi there, Karla. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for bringing your question to us!
One of the beautiful things about Disney is its dedication to the
inclusivity of people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. There are no height or weight limits for any of the rides at the
Disneyland Resort, though a few rides may not comfortably accommodate all guests. For the safety of the guests, restraints must be properly placed to ride.
There are a few rides that will definitely be a tight fit for some. These would be
Space Mountain,
Astro Orbiter, and
Goofy's Sky School. Some rides have a test seat at the entrance, like
Grizzly River Run. This is a good way to see if you will be comfortable and safe on that attraction.
The best practice is to speak with a friendly cast member about your concerns with experiencing an attraction. They’ll be able to give advice and assistance for that specific ride. For instance,
Star Tours has end seats with more space. There is also more space in the front seat of the bobsled for
Matterhorn Mountain. These are just a couple of examples of how cast members can assist with each ride.
I’d also suggest checking out the
Disneyland Mobile App to find attractions that will accommodate your needs. Go to the park map in the app, and press the filter button just under the “Attractions” icon. Scroll down to Physical Considerations and Mobility Disabilities. Depending on your needs, these filters may help you choose attractions that are comfortable and safe to ride.
Karla, I hope you have a magical trip and create many magical memories. If you have any other questions about planning your trip, come right back to us at
planDisney. I hope you have a magical day.
