Hi! When I see Disneyland Resort does that refer to the parks or hotel? Also, how can I sign up for villain's night in the Fall?

Hey there, Kristina. Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your questions for us.

Have you heard the amazing news today? After being closed for over a year, Disneyland Resort theme parks will be officially reopening on April 30, 2021! It’s been too long since we were able to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. or enjoy a DOLE Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland. Before you know it, you’ll be back to the parks taking photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and enjoying a Mickey pretzel in no time.

Oh and just to clarify, the term Disneyland Resort itself refers to the entire property which includes: Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, and the three onsite hotels (Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa).

Last year’s Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite was supposed to take place on April 30, 2020. But since the pandemic forced Disneyland Resort to close unexpectedly, that event was postponed. Now that Disneyland Resort has announced plans for reopening, I’m hoping that as time goes on, special events will begin returning for Guests to enjoy. I recommend you staying tuned to Disneyland.com and Disney Parks Blog for the latest official park news!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
