Which Disneyland resort would you recommend for a week stay. We have a 7 year old and almost 3 year old.

    Hello Shirly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad to hear you’ll be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeers.

I can’t think of anything more magical than week long stay at the Disneyland Resort. Since you said you have a seven-year-old and three-year-old, I would recommend the Disneyland Hotel for your stay. It has the classic Disneyland Park feel and your kids are sure to love it. The rooms have the most magical headboards on the beds. You'll have to be in your room at least once during the night time fireworks at Disneyland Park. You can choose from one of the three towers which were designed to represent the original lands at Disneyland Park. If your kids are like mine, then they love to swim! The Monorail Pool at the Disneyland Hotel is my favorite pool on property. It has an E ticket water slide plus a smaller water slide that’ll keep your kids having fun for hours. If you’re looking for a more private pool experience, consider booking a poolside cabana where you can lounge the day away in your own private space. Don’t forget that registered Disneyland Resort hotel guests can enjoy Extra Magic Hour. You’ll enjoy either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for one hour before official park opening for every day of your stay. You’ll have access to select attractions, stores and entertainment for one hour before the park opens to the general public.

You’ll also have to stop by Goofy‘s Kitchen for breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel. You’ll be greeted by Chef Goofy for a picture before you enter the restaurant. Once inside, you’ll have a wide selection of all you care to enjoy dishes your kids are sure to love. Leave some room for Goofy’s peanut butter and jelly pizza. It’s a favorite for kids and adults! Have your camera and autograph book ready because your favorite Disney Characters will stop by your table while you fuel up for the day.

Well Shirly,  I hope you have a magical vacation and give Goofy a big hug from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
