When will Disneyland resort parking structures open on January 27? I'm assuming they will open very early in the morning since it will be the opening day for Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway.

Hey there, hi there, Alex! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled you've stopped by!

Oh boy! Are you excited about the opening day of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway? I know I am! I'll be heading to the parks bright and early as well to give the virtual queue a try and see all the purple and platinum decor for the Disney100 Celebration kick-off. I just spoke with a Cast Member and they shared that Disneyland Resort parking structures and lots are set to open at regular hours tomorrow morning, January 27, 2023.

While it is a very big day, the parking structures shouldn't need to open any sooner since the virtual queue has changed a bit since the last attraction opening. Tomorrow you will be able to create your party in the virtual queue starting at 6:00 a.m., and the queue will open at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow. When Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened, you needed to be scanned into the parks to be able to join the queue. You do not have to be in the parks tomorrow, so the pressure to have everyone through the turnstiles is not there. If you don't get a boarding group at 7:00 a.m., you can try again at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow but you will need to be in the parks for this opportunity.

Don't forget there will also be a virtual queue tomorrow at noon for World of Color - ONE and you will need to be in the parks in order to access the virtual queue. Guests may hold one attraction boarding group and one entertainment boarding group at the same time.

Alex, thanks again for stopping by! I hope you have a wondrous visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
