Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jacob!
I am so excited that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just days away! I am pleased to tell you that there are oodles of
attractions that don’t have height requirements which means that even your 7-month-old baby can ride with you. So feel free to take the whole family on Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world,” Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, and so many more. If you plan on utilizing a baby carrier or wrap while you are in the parks, you can wear your baby on most attractions. Simply ask the Cast Member as you enter the queue if you are allowed to keep the baby in the carrier while you ride.
To assist you with all the extra duties a parent must perform with an infant, there are
Baby Care Centers located in each park. These are wonderful places equipped with large, cushy changing tables, high chairs, and rocking chairs. They even sell over-the-counter medication and other baby essentials if you run out of anything while at the parks.
Finally, I wanted to suggest that you experience Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. When I took my daughter when she was a baby, this attraction was like magic! It either put her right to sleep or all the singing birds completely captivated her. I continue to visit the Enchanted Tiki Room often not only because my daughter still loves it at almost 5 years old, but because I adore watching parents see the pure joy this attraction brings to children of all ages.
I hope your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of magic and memories!
