We will be at Disneyland resort July 16 & 17 that has become a large family reunion of 20 or so. But having trouble making reservations for dinning for our group. How can we do this? We will be at Disney one day and CA Adv the other.

Welcome to planDisney, Delilah, we’re so happy to have you.

Wow! You’ve got a big group visiting the parks with you. I just love visiting with my family and our friends. I think our largest group was a total of 8 people. We recently traveled to Walt Disney World Resort as a group of 8 and found that we did split up a couple of times throughout the day. We also did come together for meals and even then, reserving for a group of 8 was tricky.

What we ended up doing was splitting our party into 2 groups of 4. Since your trip is quickly approaching, you may want to consider splitting your party up for dining reservations. You can always let a Cast Member at the restaurant know you all are together and from personal experience, they might try and seat you all somewhat close together.

Delilah, please keep in mind that because of the current climate some dining locations are operating in a limited capacity. This might also be the reason why you are having difficulty securing a dining reservation.

If you are unable to successfully secure a dining reservation before you arrive, I do recommend trying to join a Mobile Dine Walk-Up List. Delilah, I hope this helps.

Have a Magical trip and take plenty of pictures!
