We will be at the Disneyland resort from August 14-19. On the current Fantasmic schedule show times are shown from today thru July 24th. After that, NO SHOWS ARE SCHEDULED ON ANY DATE. Are we going to be out of luck with Fantasmic then? Thanks!

    Hi Richard!

    Welcome to planDisney!

You are talking about my all-time favorite Disney show, Fantasmic! I could stretch this conversation on for a full hour, I swear. I love the Disneyland version so much better than the Walt Disney World version, and those are big words because the East Coast version is built in a massive theatre with seats and a snack bar and everything.

I have great news, which is that no, you most likely are not going to miss out on Fantasmic! during your upcoming visit to Mickey's original house. The event calendar only goes out about five weeks, and sometimes you can get lucky and see a bit more. For example, if you select the 'Five Day Events Schedule' and click to view the last date available, you'll actually see that last day highlighted on the selection calendar + four more bonus days of info. Right now I can see out as far as August 1 + the bonus days up until August 5; not only does each night have Fantasmic! listed, each night has two showings of this amazing show! You should be able to check back for your vacation dates starting July 8.

Pro Tip: Before the historic pandemic closure, Fantasmic! was performed on the weekends yEAR-round, as well as at least once on most weeknights. I can only think of it being 'dark' during the weekdays during the cooler, slower, post-holiday winter months in January and February. So I really do think you'll be in the clEAR, Richard.

Bonus Pro Tip: Look into a Fantasmic! Dining Package so you can have guaranteed entry into a reserved viewing section!

I hope that this helped to point you in the right direction of where to double-check in a few weeks, Richard!
