When I am at Disneyland, how do you reserve a wheel chair?

Hi, Nicole, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope your Disneyland Resort vacation has been truly magical! I can’t think of a better place to celebrate the holiday season and ring in the New Year than the Happiest Place on Earth!

The Disneyland Resort offers various services to assist Guests with disabilities, including wheelchair and ECV rentals. Wheelchairs and ECVs (Electric Conveyance Vehicles) may not be reserved ahead of time, and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. So, you’ll want to arrive early in order to rent one. Disneyland Resort wheelchair rentals can be found to the right of the Disneyland Main Entrance turnstiles. Wheelchairs and ECVs can be rented for a daily fee, in addition to a refundable deposit. You’ll need to have a photo ID on hand and be at least 18-years old in order to rent and operate vehicles.

For your convenience, if you’re staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you may be able to rent a wheelchair on-site. Select hotels have a limited supply on hand, so you can inquire about availability at the front desk. ECVs, however, aren’t available at the Resort hotels.

I hope this information helps make your vacation even more comfortable, convenient, and of course, magical!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
