Hi there, Jose,
As you are aware, each Guest visiting a Disneyland Resort theme park must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. Because the number of reservations is limited, they can run out, especially during popular seasons such as the current Spring Break and
Easter season.
Before switching a current park reservation, I strongly recommend visiting the
theme park reservation availability calendar to verify that the park you wish to start at is available on the date of your visit. I wouldn’t want you to cancel an existing reservation and end up not being able to book another reservation at all on the dates you can visit. To switch dates or parks for a reservation, you can visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to first cancel your current reservation and then
return to that page to book a new reservation from the available pool.
If you don’t see the reservation you want, you may keep checking back. Other Guests who may need to change their plans have until 11:59 PM the night before to cancel their reservations. That could make them available to you!
I’m right there with you, Jose. My personal preference is to start our visits to the Disneyland Resort in
Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom: Disneyland Park. But even if it doesn’t work out to switch your reservations, at least you would be concluding your visit with a stroll down
Main Street, U.S.A., where you can look up at the light in Walt’s apartment over the fire station and give a nod to the man with the dream that started it all.
Tony’s Tip: To unlock additional access to park reservations, you might consider booking a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. As an on-site hotel Guest, you would gain access to
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. This benefit, along with other benefits such as
Early Entry into the theme parks is even available on both check-in day and check-out day. Even just a one-night at a Disneyland Resort Hotel stay can unlock two full days of perks to expand the magic of your Disneyland Resort stay. Park reservations tied to a hotel stay may be initiated from the "
My Hotel Reservations" page.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jose!
