Welcome to planDisney, Aurelius!
How exciting that you're planning an upcoming trip to The Happiest Place on Earth during the Christmas season. This is possibly the most wonderful (and busy!) time of the year. There's so much happening and I know you're going to have a blast!
One of the advantages of having a Park Hopper ticket is being able to visit a theme park that has reached capacity on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. After 1:00 PM, you can leave Disney California Adventure Park and mosey on over to
Disneyland Park. There are very rare occasions when a park might be so full that they no longer let people in, even if they have the Park Hopper ticket. However, this is very rare and I anticipate you being fine on December 23.
Since you'll be visiting
Disney California Adventure Park, why not purchase the Sip and Savor Pass? This is a really fun way to enjoy
Disney Festival of the Holidays. You can purchase this pass from various locations around Disney California Adventure Park, including
Kingswell Shop,
Seaside Souvenirs,
Rushin’ River Outfitters, and the Festival Merchandise Carts. The current cost (subject to change) is $57 for regular park Guests and $52 for Magic Key holders. Each pass basically gives you eight entitlement tabs, which you're able to redeem for select food and nonalcoholic drinks at participating
Festive Food Marketplace kiosks and dining locations. And here's a tip: To make the most out of your pass, order the most expensive items at each booth.
I trust you'll have a magical time, Aurelius. TTFN, ta-ta for now.
Mike
