Mickey Mouse and his pals have been working really hard on the
phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort! AND…I am very happy to inform you that
Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and
Disneyland Theme Park Reservations are available RIGHT NOW! WOO HOO! As you know, only California residents will be allowed to visit the Disneyland Resort at this time to follow COVID-19 safety measures and keep guests safe during their TIGGER-ific visit.
Now, this is where your great question comes into play. All guests purchasing Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and making a Disneyland Theme Park reservation will be required to make it through their My Disneyland Account,
which is tied to their address. Also, when a guest makes a Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they will be required to certify that they are a California resident. These will be the two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. Since you are a college student going to a California university, I would make sure the address on your My Disneyland account reflects where you are currently living. I also talked to a very helpful Cast Member, and she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate. My recommendation would be for you to bring your college student ID and have ready to prove your current California residence.
