Welcome to planDisney, Lisa!
Now, this is my kind of question! I think a planDisney research trip is in order!
For the majority of its history,
Magic Kingdom Park has not served alcohol. However, about a decade ago, Disney began serving beer and wine at table service restaurants inside Magic Kingdom Park. You can find beer and wine at the following table service locations:
- Be Our Guest
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
- The Crystal Palace
- The Diamond Horseshoe
- Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- The Plaza Restaurant
- Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
Very recently, Disney even started serving cocktails (with hard liquor) in a couple of restaurants within Magic Kingdom too. You can enjoy a cocktail at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen and The Diamond Horseshoe.
In the words of Abuela from Encanto, "The Magic is strong — and so are the drinks!"
Disney's Hollywood Studios has sold alcohol for some time. You can purchase a strong concoction at various places within the park. Some of my favorites are Oga's Cantina, Milk Stand, BaseLine Tap House, Tune-in Lounge, and Brown Derby Lounge.
I hope that's helpful, Lisa. If you'd like to enjoy a special drink outside the parks, I'd suggest visiting
Enchanted Rose at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This is just a short monorail stop away from Magic Kingdom Park. The lounge itself is really nice with a lovely Beauty and the Beast theme. They also do a mean mojito!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Lisa. If you have any more alcohol-related questions, you know where to find me.
ChEARS,
Mike
