Hi there, Marlene. Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your questions for us. I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth in early 2026. What a wonderful way to start off the new year with a visit to see Mickey Mouse and Friends.
Recently, Disneyland Resort announced a
California resident ticket offer that will be valid from January 1 through May 21, 2026. It looks like you don’t reside in California, so unfortunately, you won’t be able to qualify for this discount. However, periodically there are
special offers and discounts on theme park tickets for all Guests. I recommend checking
Disney Parks Blog periodically for the latest news and updates, including when there’ll be special offers.
As for any first responder discounts, Disneyland Resort doesn’t typically offer them, though there are offers for military members from time to time. I suggest checking with your employer’s human resources or benefits department to see if they have any discounts for Disneyland Resort. Occasionally, I have found discounted vacation packages and theme park tickets through my work as a healthcare worker; my daughter is a first responder and she sometimes have found deals offered through her employer as well. Other websites my daughter and I have found discounts include ID.me and GovX. You’ll just need to register with proof of employment to qualify for the perks and special offers.
I hope this information is helpful for you and I hope you’ll be able to take advantage of discounts for your upcoming trip. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Sending you pixie dust,
Kiki
