Welcome to planDisney, David!
Looks like you're stirring up plans for a visit to the Disneyland Resort soon! That’s exciting because an all-new attraction,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, is set to debut at The Happiest Place on Earth later this year! I'm personally super excited about it—I can't wait to see what magic Disney has cooked up for this new attraction!
David, unfortunately, only California residents can purchase a Magic Key on a monthly payment plan. Here's how it works: When you choose a
Magic Key, you'll need to be logged in to your
MyDisney account with a residential address reflecting California zip codes. That way, when you pick the Magic Key tier you wish to purchase, you can kick things off with a down payment equivalent to a 1-Day, Tier 1 Park Hopper Ticket, plus your initial monthly payment. The monthly amount varies based on the pass type and gets divided into 12 payments, automatically deducted from your account on the same day each month.
Non-California residents, however, must pay the full amount upfront.
But David, if you're considering a package with both Disneyland Resort admission tickets and a
Disneyland Resort Hotel stay, you might opt for a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. While there's no formal payment plan, you can make payments toward your balance as you wish. A $200 deposit (subject to change) is required to secure your reservation, with full payment due 30 days before your arrival. You can manage payments toward your package balance through the
Disneyland website. For
Theme Park Tickets only, full payment is required at the time of purchase.
I hope this clears things up for you, David. You're like a shooting star. You've come so far you can't go back to where you used to be. So please
fly back and visit me again if you have any more questions. Just consider me your personal
Genie in a bottle.
