Hi, Marisa!
I’m thrilled to hear that you’re heading to the Disneyland Resort this spring! Your visit is just around the corner.
St. Patrick’s Day is a fun and festive time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth. There’s sure to be special Limited Edition merchandise available, like themed ear hats, Disney Pins and apparel inspired by the luck o’ the Irish! You’ll also likely find shamrock-colored beads, boas and hats available from carts in the parks and Downtown Disney in celebration of Ireland’s patron saint.
In the recent past, some of the Downtown Disney District restaurants (located just steps from the parks) had special menu items to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, including green beer and Irish coffee at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, as well as the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage!
You never know what surprises might pop up around the resort to help you celebrate the holiday. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as March 17 approaches for possible sneak peeks at the special merchandise, seasonal food items and festivities.
Please write back with more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted Disneyland Resort vacation, Marisa…and don’t forget to pack something green!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
