We will be at Disneyland Park for one day in early December. We are booked to do the Disney Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort tour. We do not have a hopper pass for California Adventure. Do we need that to attend the tour?

    Hello there, Catherine!

Welcome back to planDisney, I'm so happy to see you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort! It's the merriest time of year, you are going to love it!

The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour is a great way to dig a little deeper into the history and traditions of Disneyland Park. Guests are required to have a valid ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland Park, where the entire tour takes place. You won't need to have park hoppers to enjoy this tour, so no worries there!

The tour is about 2 hours long and typically includes reserved viewing for A Christmas Fantasy Parade and a merry cruise on "it's a small world" Holiday. Plan on sampling a festive treat, too! You'll meet your guide at Tour Gardens on Main Street, U.S.A. (please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time).

I always love meeting the tour guides at the Disneyland Resort, you can tell they really love the parks! They have so many great stories, even as a major Disney fan I always find myself learning something new. Did you know that you can leave a compliment for your tour guide in the Disneyland Mobile App? If you open the main menu and scroll down to the "Help & Feedback" section you'll see a "Cast Compliments" line. Give it a tap, choose something your tour guide did well, enter their name and hometown, and that's it! It's super quick, and I know it means a lot to the Cast Members.

Have the merriest day in Disneyland Park, Catherine!

    Keep moving forward!
