Hi there, Holly, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
This is an excellent question, and one that I’ve also been wondering. I called Disney Dining and spoke with a helpful Cast Member who let me know that Disneyland Resort
park hours haven’t been set yet past September 30, 2019. So, that’s why we aren’t seeing any availability for breakfast or dinner reservations in October yet. You’re correct that we are now within the 60-day
dining reservation window, so I know this must be frustrating! The Cast Member I spoke with suggested checking back daily, or calling back to Disney Dining at (714) 781-3463 (DINE) for additional help.
I do have some good news for you, though – you CAN still make dining reservations at any
Downtown Disney District dining locations, or any of the restaurants in the
Disneyland Resort hotels. I checked your date of arrival, and saw plenty of available dinner reservations for those restaurants. If you’d prefer to eat in the parks, though, I recommend hanging in there and waiting for those reservations to open, hopefully very soon!
Also, one other thing to make note of –
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is taking place on select evenings in Disney California Adventure Park. So, if you’re hoping to dine in Disney California Adventure Park on October 10, you’ll notice that table-service restaurants won’t be available for dinner reservations since the park closes at 6:00 PM for the Oogie Boogie Bash. During the Bash,
quick-service locations will still be available, as will
Carthay Circle Lounge.
I hope this helps as you continue planning your upcoming Disney adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
See ya’ real soon!
