Bonjour Yadira Reyna, and welcome back to planDisney! Coming from the U.S., I love discovering the details that make Disneyland Paris magical, like the carefully manicured trees around
Sleeping Beauty Castle and the
dragon in the dungeon.
First, let’s make sure you get lots of pictures during your magical vacation!
Disney PhotoPass service is a great way to get amazing pictures from attractions (my family’s favorite shots!) to character meet and greets. We like to buy PhotoPass+ because you get access to all your photos and videos throughout the trip, since it’s valid for 10 days.
If you booked a
Disney Hotel + Ticket package directly through Disneyland Paris, you can add PhotoPass+ once your package has been paid in full on the website. When you check into your hotel, you’ll get a Disney PhotoPass exchange voucher, which you’ll bring to one of the
boutiques to pick up your PhotoPass+. Otherwise, you can go directly to one of those boutiques to purchase PhotoPass+ when you get to Disneyland Paris.
For entering the theme parks, it’s really easy to do this right from your mobile phone with the
Disneyland Paris mobile app! If you booked directly through Disneyland Paris, your tickets should be automatically linked (with Hotel + Ticket packages, tickets will be available as a
MagicPass that becomes available seven days in advance). You can check for tickets in the app by going to Account in the lower right corner and then My Tickets & Passes. If there’s nothing there, press the Link a Ticket or Pass button. Here you can scan a ticket or press the Enter manually button at the bottom to link using your booking number. My panelist pals, Matt and Lizzie, filmed a
video that shows the linking process, so definitely check it out!
The app is also an invaluable resource for navigating the theme parks, checking wait times, joining
virtual queues to meet characters, purchasing
Disney Premiere Access to skip the standby queue for select attractions, and using
Click & Collect (similar to mobile food ordering in the U.S. theme parks).
I’m wishing you a magical visit to Disneyland Paris later this month! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney.
