Is the Disneyland Paradise Pier hotel worth the money instead of a hotel further down with shuttle? Also with this question. About how much is it to stay at the Paradise Pier hotel for 5 nights?

Hi again, Kaysea! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question!

I have stayed at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel so I would be happy to share all the things I love about it to help you compare your options. First, I adore the short walk to the parks and the Downtown Disney District from this hotel. In under 10 minutes I am at the gates ready for rope drop or when our daughter is ready for a nap, it's incredibly easy to head back to the room. Next, we really love having breakfast with Mickey at Disney's PCH Grill right in the lobby.

While we also enjoy the bright beach-themed rooms and the relaxing pool on the fourth floor deck, the absolute best part about staying here (or at any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels) is Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay! Extra Magic Hour allows you to enter Disneyland Park one hour early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Disney California Adventure Park one hour early on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This extra early hour is invaluable in my opinion as the crowds are usually very low and you can get so much done with minimal waiting. And it gets better...the Extra Magic Hour at Disney California Adventure Park is only for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests. Just imagine riding Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin' Around the World, and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! all before the park opens for general admission.

Prices for Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel can fluctuate throughout the year, so it's best to check the website or to call the Vacation Packages line at (714) 520-5060 to price out your travel dates.

I hope this provides you some insight into this hotel and you can now make a decision for your upcoming trip!
